Educational Objectives
  1. The Department of Drama and Theatre provides students with a balanced and full range of instruction in the theatre arts, along with a solid liberal arts education.
  2. Our courses embrace theory and practice, aesthetics and technology, the traditional and the modern, and the East and West.
  3. Students are able to fully develop their innovative and scholarly pursuits in areas such as history, theory, play-writing, directing, acting, design, and techniques. We also offer advanced professional courses based on the individual student’s interest and talent.
